Step 3: Starting to swim!

Turner's two weeks of swim lessons are over and we are so thankful for how well the experience went for him! On the last day the teacher was actually working with him on swimming a bit on his belly then rolling to his back for a breath - that's almost more than I can do!! He has added "swim", "pool" and "Mary" to his vocabulary and speaks of them often! He definitelly had fun - even left me willingly with a smile to go to Mary the last two days!! That was quite a change from the times she had to peel him out of my arms! The YMCA offers this course several times over the "non-summer" months and we plan to get him in for a refresher course a few times before next summer!!

p.s. Part of the last day was that he come fully-dressed with a regular diaper on!
