as of late they seem to be enthralled with the hat, the boots and mostly the "neighs" (as Turner fondly refers to them).
As Carter & Turner are beginning to show preferences toward certain toys/ animals/ activities/ characters/ etc. my natural instinct is to gently guide them toward the pursuits and passions of my heart (basketball anyone??)... but I have to remind myself that they are little boys who will be given special talents and interests of their own and pray that God would give me the patience and faith to allow these boys to follow their dreams and the passions HE fills their hearts with.
I take great comfort in this verse from Jeremiah 29:11....
"For I know the plans that I have for you,' declares the LORD, 'plans for welfare and not for calamity to give you a future and a hope."

And Carter sporting a cowboy hat, he does look mighty cute??!
Will my babies grow up to be cowboys?!

Yee haw! Great pics! Uncle Justin is giving these city boys some good culture :)
Such fun! Justin showed great interest in horses at that age and never lost it. Who knows what lies ahead.
it'll be interesting to see... i've always liked horses! i still want to live on a ranch someday and own them! =) yes, carter looked cute as a cowboy. halloween costumes perhaps??
