Well, the Huskers lost last night and I'm a little sad to say goodbye to the team until next fall, but I guess there are other more important things in life I can focus on.
For instance, this group of ladies....
Saturday morning I got together with a group of friends that has meant so much to me over the past 6 years. We were all part of the same small group at our church (along with our families) and even after the group was no longer meeting and we'd all gone in different directions. We continued to get together for Saturday morning brunches (which has always been our favorite thing to do together). Our brunches used to be every couple of months and now it's only about once a year.Yesterday we talked about how we'd seen God at work in each of our lives. How we had prayed for each other and seen God answer so many of these prayers and how He has molded and shaped us in the process. It was a rich time of fellowship. These ladies are an inspiration to me... to grow in my faith and place my full trust in the One who provides, protects, guides, directs, and saves... the Everlasting One!
Thank you ladies!! You are a blessing to me!
